Invitation to Tell Stories
How has God touched your life lately? How have you seen God present in the life of others? Do you have a story to share? As a continuation of our theme Stories to Tell & Gifts to Share, we invite you to continue sharing and writing your stories from your life. This is a way we can continue to be grateful and graceful.
We will collect stories for our congregational story album. Simply send or bring your stories to the church office with the title, A Story to Tell. These new stories will be collected and some will be made available through the newsletter or handouts. This will be a valuable legacy of the times in our life together. The album will be available in the library for all to read. We invite you experience how the stories of others can continue to touch your life.
Our source, our connection to Jesus, always comes through the Word. In Stewardship we discussed Zacchaeus being invited into salvation by Jesus. Jesus restores the most unworthy, the shady IRS man, who is transformed, vibrant and sincere (Luke 19: 1-10). We heard the story of Paul, who’s life in prison depends on the very generosity of others, writing about his stress and worry free life. His connection to God keeps him from desiring more and more (Philippians 4:10-14). How do these stories apply in your life?
Again, we invite you to continue telling and writing stories. May your gift of storytelling be a blessing to you and others!
