SHADE TREE MINISTRY
Your generous donations of Rice and Beans are much appreciated. Donations are always needed and can be placed in the bin in the Narthex for distribution. Volunteers to assist David and Martha on Tuesdays and Fridays handing out the rice and beans would be greatly appreciated! If you have time or a friend who is looking for volunteer work contact David or Martha Willis. Other items needed include men’s work gloves and shoes.

JOYFUL WOMEN BIBLE STUDY
Come join the Joyful Women as we study Paul’s letter to the Philippians. The class will be offered on five Tuesdays, beginning January 10th. CONGREGATIONAL MEETING, PART 2
Sunday, February 5th at noon. Join us for Super Appetizers & Super Meeting on Super Bowl Sunday! We will meet in the sanctuary beginning at noon the meeting will include the second vote on the new Joy Constitution, Joy Business, Year-end celebration of our ministries. QUAKE YOUTH ENCOUNTER
Austin, Tx. on Feb. 10-12th. The Jr. High is planning on attending this event. For information contact Tracy Posey. Quakes are for middle school youth (grades 6-9) and focus on faith in Jesus Christ and building Christian community. NALC EVENT
At St. Paul and Peace on Feb. 17-18. Bishop John Bradosky will be the main presenter. This is a great opportunity for our congregation to meet their Bishop! Registration forms are available in the Narthex. Deadline is Feb. 2nd for group discount. Cost is $25 per person, $15 for each additional person from the same congregation.
