Adult Sunday School - We are once again offering two Sunday school classes.  Dr Jim Nestingen is leading via video in the Nave, and Pastor Tim is teaching Joy 101 in the gathering place.

Sunday School 3rd Quarter Help Needed —We need volunteers to help with K-6, lead opening, plan and execute the activities at the end of each lesson.  The sign up chart is in the narthex.  See Corinne Light for materials!

 

Common Threads - helps clothe children in Lamar CISD, and is in need of uniforms and school clothes.  There will be a box in the Narthex for donations and clothing, shoes, socks, underwear and toiletries. For information contact Laura Cabato at 832-462-0774

Installation - Pr. Tonya Brittainwas installed as Pastor of First English Lutheran Church, Marysville, Ohio in worship Sunday, April 10th.  Please keep them in your prayers.

Fort Bend Family Promise - Joy will be responsible for providing meals to homeless families the week of April 24th - May 1st.  You may prepare a meal or give a monetary donation.  For more information contact Shirley Morris or Paula Curry

Joyful Women Fall Study —Ladies, come join us as we

study and discuss prayer as illustrated through various psalms. We will meet Tuesday mornings (10:00) and evenings (7:30) starting January 5 through February 9. Please plan on joining us. For more information, contact Vickie Schoppe - 281-346-2546

 

Shade Tree Ministry - We meet to make sandwiches Monday and Thursday at 6pm. Help is always needed in distributing food.  They meet at the Rosenberg Train museum at 6:50am on Tuesdays & Fridays, and hand out food, then move down to Larry’s in Richmond and hand out there. They would really appreciate more help with that. If interested call Doris Goates at 281-342-6342, or Bob Jahn at 281-733-3542.

Men's Bible Study - Meets every Thursday evening at 7:30 pm.  We are doing a 12 week study on Dietrich Bonhoeffer's book. 'Creation Fall and Temptation."

FYI - Pastor Tim was elected Dean of the South Texas Mission District while in Dallas for Lutheran Week.  He requests your prayers as he exercises this new ministry

Helping Hands - continues to be very busy, so please help in anyway you can. We are in need of dry pasta, jelly, dry beans, bar soap, and toilet paper.
